Baku-APA. A 3.1-magnitude earthquake occured in Shamakhi region of Azerbaijan on Monday night, APA reports quoting AzerTAg.
Seismic Survey Centre of National Academy of Sciences reported that the quake occurred at 11:42 pm local time. Its epicentre was 15 kilometres west of Pirgulu settlement, Shamakhi region. A 3.0-magnitude tremor was felt in the settlement.
No destruction was reported.
