Chairman of the Bar: We are concerned over the results of the bar examination

The problem should be investigated with the participation of the higher schools. Candidates do not get satisfactory results in the bar examination,â€ chairman of the Bar Azer Tagiyev said at the international conference on the theme â€œImproving the law institution in Azerbaijan and increasing the opportunities for appealing to courtâ€, APA reports.
Chairman of the Bar said though there is not any restriction concerning the admission to the bar, they are concerned over the results of the exams.
â€œ77 out of 507 applicants passed the test last year. 178 out of 605 have passed the test this year. I think the problem of education should be investigated. We should take into account that the test questions are not so difficult,â€ he said.

Azer Tagiyev said offering opportunities for unqualified persons may cause additional problems.
