OSCE representative: Azerbaijan has done much towards improvement of the judicial sphere and reforms

Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. â€œAzerbaijan is a very active and important member of OSCE and I am glad that the persons representing Azerbaijan in this organization have also been active,â€ Thomas Vennen, the Head of Democratization Department of OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), said at the international conference on the theme â€œImproving the law institution in Azerbaijan and increasing the opportunities for appealing to courtâ€, APA reports.

Thomas Vennen said Azerbaijan had done much towards improvement of the judicial sphere and reforms. He said the attempts of the Azerbaijani government towards the improvement of the law institution were praiseworthy.
â€œWe have also supported the formation of the laws related to this sphere,â€ he said.

Thomas Vennen expressed his confidence that necessary steps would be taken for complete independent functioning of the law institution in Azerbaijan.
