It was intensively raining in Gandja and surrounding areas, snowing in Dashkesan and Gadabay regions. The thickness of snow cover reached 15 cm in the region’s center, 40 cm in the mountainous areas. Chairman of the Dashkesan’s emergency commission Javanshir Gojayev said the snowfall didn’t create traffic problems and road police is working to eliminate icing on the roads. “The problem of electricity was also eliminated. There is no problem with gas supply tooâ€, the emergency official said.
Chairman of the Gadabay’s emergency commission Gudrat Pashayev told APA that it has been snowing in the region since the night. The thickness of snow cover is 15 cm in the region’s center. He said there were no traffic or energy problems in the region.
The snowfall is continuing in both regions now.
