The incident was recorded today in the district’s Sulutepe settlement. The confrontation took place between the local population and employees of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) during the removal of houses illegally built in SOCAR’s territory. Some people were injured during the scuffles.
Police arrived at site to prevent the confrontation.
Baku Emergency Medical Aid Station told APA that one seriously injured was hospitalized.
