Azerbaijani MSN arrests 15 persons accused of drug smuggling and illegal storage of arms

The various quantities of narcotic drugs were seized from them. It was revealed that these persons were in an agreement with citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran and smuggled these narcotic drugs from this country for the sale purposes.

Two Azerbaijani citizens - Huseynov Khayyam Khanlar and Gorchuzadeh Mahammad Israyil were detained in Ganja as a result of operational search measures. 1 Makarov pistol and 7 bullets for this pistol were seized during the examination of Huseynovâ€™s house. It was determined that Gorchuzadeh arrived in Ganja city and met here with Huseynov, and gave this ammunition to Huseynov, who was working as a bus driver en route Azerbaijan-Russia. Huseynov should hand this ammunition to Gorchuzadehâ€™s brother Gorchuzadeh Ibrahim Israyil, who was living in St Petersburg city of Russia.

The criminal case has been launched on all facts, the investigative and the operational search actions on revealing of the other participators of this illegal action are being continued.
