UAZ, without sign of official registration, driven by resident of Balakan region Yekayev Elnur Hasrat, 26, rolled down into the valley. Chairman of the Balakan regional organization of YAP Ulukhanov Akif Humbat, 57, who has been working chief doctor of the Balakan central hospital until 2011, died as a result of the accident.
Yekayev and other passengers - Ulukhanov’s son Kenan, 22, Goylarov Gahraman Abdurzag, 56 were injured and hospitalized.
Kenan Ulukhanov, who was seriously injured, was sent to one of the hospitals in Baku.
Police launched criminal investigation, which is underway now.
