Journalist commits murder in Azerbaijani capital

Baku city Main Police Office told APA that Ayvaz Almuradov, 25, living in E. Ismayilov street, killed Arzuman Namazov and run away in G. Aliyev street 17 on June 19 at 22.00. the investigation launched by the 8th Police Station of Sabail District Police Office clarified that before the incident, Almuradov caviled at Namazov and said that during tuning on the engine, the water to his house was broken. The conflict occurred between the neighbors and Almuradov killed Namazov knifing him. It was determined that Almuradov was a journalist. The criminal case has been launched by Sabail District Police Office District Prosecutorâ€™s Office on the Criminal Codeâ€™s article â„– 120.1, the measures of Almuradovâ€™s detection and bringing him to the investigation are continued.

It was noted that Almuradov is an employee of â€œSpecial investigationsâ€ newspaper.
