The region police office told APA’s Shirvan bureau that the accident happened on the 6th km of Agsu-Kurdamir highway at 20.00 on June 19.
Hyundai Sonata carrying the couple flipped over as they left the wedding palace. The car was driven by resident of Goy Dellekli village Bakhshiyev Ramil Beybala, 26.
Groom – Gachayev Zerbali Nemet, 24, bride – Aliyeva Zeyneb Hafiz, 20, driver Bakhshiyev Ramil and his wife – the groom’s sister Bakhshiyeva Shalala Nemet, 22, were seriously injured and taken to Agsu hospital.
The driver’s one-year-old son Bakhshiyev Ibrahim died in the aftermath of the accident. As the car flipped over five times, the vehicles of the fire fighting units of Agsu and Kurdamir were sent to the site.
The fact is being investigated.
