Head of Kars Municipality: â€œIt is impossible to reunite the severed parts of â€œMonument to Humanityâ€ againâ€ - <font color=red>PHOTO</font>

Baku. Parvin Abbasov - APA. Demolition of â€œMonument to Humanityâ€ in Kars city of Turkey are being continued, APA reports quoting Turkish media. Until the expected visit of Prime Minister Rajap Tayyip Erdogan to Kars on May 20, firm representatives, which win tender are planning to take big part of monument far from the area.

Head of Kars Municipality Nevzat Bozkush said that Monument to Humanity would be taken until Erdoganâ€™s visit. Moreover, he added that it was impossible to reunite the severed parts again.

Note that, Kars Municipality passed a decision on demolition of this monument on February 1, 2011. The construction of the monument started in 2008. But the construction was not concluded. Erdogan noted that strange buildings contrary to historical-architectural style. He declared that the mentioned monument was also ugly.
