The incident happened last night in Kimyachilar settlement, Sumgayit. A city resident Parvin Vali Novruzov, 23, knifed his neighbor Asif Aliislam Seyidov, 25, and his brother Ayaz. Asif Seyidov died at the site. Ayaz was hospitalized.
The offender – Novruzov was arrested as a result of operational researches carried out by the officers of Sumgayit city Police Office.
A criminal case has been launched under Article 120 (Deliberate murder) of the Criminal Code by Sumgayit City Prosecutor’s Office.
The Interior Ministry spread information about the incident. APA reports citing the official website of the Ministry that, on September 1, at about 23.00, in Kimyachilar settlement of Sumgayit, Novruzov Parvin Vali knifed his neighbor Asif Seyidov, and after injuring his brothers Araz and Ayaz, Novruzov run away.
