Murderers of homosexuals detained in Baku, official statement says

The prosecutorâ€™s office told APA, two men were found dead in the apartment at Huseyn Javid Avenue 546/194. They were knifed dead. Medical-forensic experts of the prosecutorâ€™s office examined the bodies and police took evidences from the site for investigation.

During the investigation the killed persons were identified as Gasimov Zamig Gasim and Kuzmin Yadigar Eldar.

As a result of operational searches conducted by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Interior Ministry, Baku Head Police Office and Yasamal District Police Office, residents of Keshla settlement of Baku â€“ Agayev Gahraman Elkhan, 21, Hasanguliyev Magsad Musa, 20 and Muradov Zaur Rafig, 19 were detained as suspects. They admitted an offense and said they purposely killed two. They handed over four mobile phones and notebook belonged to the killed persons and two knives used in crime.

The Prosecutorâ€™s Office of Baku is continuing the investigation.
