Coskun said that the new government is the guarantor of further continuation of the perfect relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
The Ambassador stated that the relationship with Azerbaijan was also evident during the period of Turkish President-elect Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s and newly-appointed Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu’s positions as Prime Minister and the Foreign Affairs Minister. He said that all members of the Turkish government sincerely love Azerbaijan, fell the brotherhood in their souls and view the future of Azerbaijan together with Turkey from this point.
“I am absolutely sure that the existing perfect relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan will further develop after this change of government in Turkey. Next week Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Azerbaijan with several Ministers. This is not accidental. As president Ilham Aliyev’s first foreign visit was to Turkey, our president Recep Tayyip Erdogan will also pay his first foreign visit to Azerbaijan. This is the proof of how the relations between the two countries will be in the new period. Together with Azerbaijan we will continue to develop, improve the well-being of our people, have a positive impact on the development of the region and defend our homelands in the most powerful way. All should know the value of this friendship established along with the brotherhood between Turkey and Azerbaijan and try to be friends with these countries. All should know that no one will benefit of any hostile approach to Turkey and Azerbaijan”, the Ambassador said.
“Turkey and Azerbaijan stand for friendship. The economic and energy projects implemented by these two countries are in this nature. I am sure that the cooperation between the two countries will further develop in the upcoming period. Each country will be able to take advantage of it, if it chooses peace and common sense”, he added.
