Seyidov said that the Armenians began to disrupt the meeting in the session as they saw that a rapporteur was appointed on Nagorno Karabakh at the meeting of the PACE Committee on Political Affairs, the report was titled by the Committee members as “increase of tension in Nagorno Karabakh and other occupied territories of Azerbaijan”, the agenda of the Committee included the Nagorno Karabakh issue and they were not able to exclude this issue from the agenda. “They tried this issue not to be included in the agenda. First, they began to talk endlessly failing to follow the program. The chairman of the meeting verbally them, but they ignored it. Following this, the meeting management turned off their microphones and interpretation of their speeches were stopped. The Armenian delegation then stood up and began to clamor. After all, the meeting management decided to leave the Armenian delegation out of the meeting hall and discuss the agenda without their participation”, the Head of Azerbaijani delegation to the PACE said.
Mr. Seyidov stressed that following this, a strict warning was issued against the Armenian delegation. “It was noted that if the Armenian delegation repeat such behavior, it may be considered to apply sanctions against them”, he added.
