The Azerbaijani Parliament has protested against the visit of Speaker of the Uruguayan Parliament Jorge Orrico to the occupied Nagorno Karabakh territory of Azerbaijan, APA reports. MP Ganira Pashayeva said that the Speaker of the Uruguayan Parliament disrespected the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan: “The speaker has met with the head of the separatist regime there, it is disrespect to the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and contrary to the orders and resolutions of international organizations.”
MP mentioned that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan would send a note to Uruguay: “The Azerbaijani Parliament must also protest against Uruguay. I offered the parliament to send a protest message to Uruguay.”
