Azerbaijan's 'Single Window' system to gradually cover all foreign trade processes

The "Single Window" Information System will gradually cover all foreign trade processes, Rahman Hummatov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport, said during the official presentation ceremony of the "Single Window" Information System – Digital Logistics Platform in Baku, APA-Economics reports.

He said that during the first phase of the project, priority was given to the digitalization of export procedures for plants and plant products.

"Currently, applications for fumigation certificates and export customs declarations are submitted through the 'Single Window' Information System – Digital Logistics Platform within a unified digital environment. The initial results show that the platform creates real value by reducing the administrative burden and enabling faster service delivery. In the next stages, all import, export, and transit processes are planned to be managed through the platform. At the same time, work is continuing to integrate the systems of other government agencies into the platform," he said.
