Noting that the world today is in a difficult situation, Mammadov said the main reason of this is the unjust approach of the forces which are to regulate the international processes.
“If they took a fair position, the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict would have long been settled. Our main goal is our territorial integrity to be approved and reflected in the documents of the international organizations. Overcoming all resistance, we are taking steps toward our territorial integrity to be approved ad reflected in the documents of international organizations. The essence of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s statement is that he will support Azerbaijan if any question is raised in the international organizations. Turkey also provides its support to Azerbaijan within NATO. In both Chicago and last summit of NATO, Turkey and Azerbaijan acted together, we united our efforts. And this contributes, and Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity is now reflected in the document recently adopted by NATO. However, it is not easy. Today, Ukrainian crisis has arisen as no fair position has been demonstrated to certain conflicts and they have not been settled. First of these conflicts was the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict”.
N. Mammadov also drew attention to the situation in a number of states in the Middle East: “If there is an objective approach, there will be appeared that how Azerbaijan’s situation is different. Azerbaijan has managed to protect stability and achieve a strong development during the state of war for nearly 25 years. Many do not want Azerbaijan’s successes. Many people would not like to see a rich country like Azerbaijan living peacefully. It’s not easy to achieve this”.
