Malena Mard: â€œWe hope the agenda of the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EU will expand furtherâ€

“We highly appreciate cooperating with neighbors. There is a strong cooperation between the EU and Azerbaijan. We hope our agenda on cooperation will expand further. We have future ahead”, said the diplomat. He also said he seeks to contribute to the development of this cooperation.

Minister of Energy Natig Aliyev, who delivered a speech at the event, congratulated heads of member states of the EU, the peoples living in Europe, and wished them peace and tranquility. The minister stated that the relations between the EU and Azerbaijan have begun to develop after Azerbaijan gained independence: “Today there are close relations in both the political and economical fields. At the same time, Azerbaijan’s oil and gas strategy has largely contributed to neighboring countries. Our relations in the field of energy have reached a milestone. Azerbaijan is playing a big part in the energy security of eastern countries of Europe”.
