Baku. Anakhanim Hidayatova - APA. Cornelia Pieper, Minister of State at the Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany, will today arrive in Azerbaijan, spokesperson for German embassy in Azerbaijan Aytekin Maharramova told APA.
She said that along with German Federal Vice Minister of Economy and Technology Dr. Karl-Ernst Brauner, Deputy CEO of the central German Chamber of Industry and Trade (DIHK) in Berlin, Dr. Volker Treier, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev Minister of State at the Foreign Office Cornelia Pieper will attend the solemn opening ceremony of Germany-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce.
Cornelia Pieper will meet with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev, exchange views with the representatives of civil society.
Germany-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce in Baku will be the second in CIS after Moscow.
