The diplomat said surfing Azerbaijani media for 20-30 is enough to be sure of free journalism in Azerbaijan.
“They will see that any journalist in Azerbaijan can freely criticize various directions of the government’s activity, including foreign policy. As a spokesman for the Foreign Ministry I face such critical remarks every day and regard it as normal, because we live in a free country,” he said.
“Ms. Kroes should seriously check what texts are given to her before making a speech,” he said.
