Baku – APA. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has had a phone conversation with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. The head of state congratulated the Russian president on his birthday, wishing him robust health and every success in his presidency, APA reports quoting president.az.
Vladimir Putin in his turn expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for his attention and the congratulation.
During the conversation, the heads of state remarked that bilateral relations between the two countries are successfully developing in all areas, stressed the importance of high level meetings in terms of the expansion of cooperation, and expressed their confidence that relations would tighten even further.
