Baku – APA. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has today received a delegation led by Ms. Mireya Agüero de Corrales, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Honduras, APA reports.
The Head of State said that a good partnership was established between Azerbaijan and Honduras in a short period of time and expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations.
President Ilham Aliyev said that Ms. Mireya Agüero de Corrales was awarded with Azerbaijan`s “Friendship” (Dostlug) Order for her special contributions to development of friendly relations and cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Republic of Honduras, and presented the order to the guest.
Corrales conveyed the greetings and invitation of President of Honduras Juan Orlando Hernández Alvarado to Ilham Aliyev for paying a visit to Honduras. She expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani President for the award.
