Ilham Aliyev said discussions were held with France on energy cooperation and noted that the total cost of energy projects for delivery of Azerbaijani oil to European countries equals to $45 billion: “Azerbaijan plays a leading role in bringing energy resources from the Caspian basin to European and world markets. Energy has become a matter of national security. Our projects have made great changes in the energy map of Europe.”
