Azerbaijani Interior Minister delivers speech at regional conference in Pakistan - <span style="color: red;">FOTO

Baku – APA. Azerbaijani Interior Minister, Colonel General Ramil Usubov delivered a speech at the Regional Ministerial Conference on Counter-narcotics held in Islamabad on the initiative of the Pakistani President. Azerbaijani embassy in Pakistan told APA that making a speech at the conference, Ramil Usubov spoke about the fight carried out in Azerbaijan against drug smuggling and the achievements.

Usubov met with Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari during the visit. Noting the dynamical development of the relations between the two fraternal countries in all directions, Pakistani President underlined that his country supported Azerbaijan in all issues.

Following this, Azerbaijani Interior Minister met with his Pakistani counterpart Rehman Malik. They discussed fight against organized crimes, drug trafficking, as well as the establishment of working groups between the two ministries, enhancement of the exchange of information and experience and the other issues of mutual interest.

Azerbaijani Interior Minister invited his counterpart to visit Azerbaijan.

Ramil Usubov also met with Pakistani Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar, Turkish Interior Minister Idris Naim Sahin, Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar and Afghan Minister of Counter Narcotics Zarar Ahmed Moqbel Osmani.
