“In terms of international law, this project is implemented on the basis of the agreement signed between the two countries. But apart from juridical, political, and economic factors, there are ecological factors as well. Therefore, some disagreements have emerged in the region about the implementation of the project. Some opinions say construction of the pipeline can negatively affect the ecology of the Caspian Sea. That is why there’s a delay in the implementation of the project,” he said.
