Baku – APA. Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov has met with his Hungarian counterpart János Martonyi in Budapest.
The meeting was held as a part of an unofficial gathering of the Foreign Ministers of the Visegrad Group and Eastern Partnership member states, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry told APA.
At the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects of developing bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary, as well as the issues of cooperation in the fields of energy, trade, culture and tourism.
Elmar Mammadyarov gave information about the Karabakh settlement and stressed the necessity of withdrawing Armenian troops from the occupied lands of Azerbaijan.
