A person (male) born in 1987, who was injured as a result of an explosion in the Kalbajar region, was hospitalized at 5:10 p.m. on 21.07.2026 to Ganja United Hospital, said TABIB in response to APA's inquiry.
It was noted that the patient, who suffered various injuries, was provided with necessary medical services.
The injured person refused medical services based on a written statement and was discharged from the medical facility.

On July 21, an ammunition explosion occurred in the Zaylik village of the liberated Kalbajar district, Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency (ANAMA), the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Prosecutor General’s Office said in a statement, APA reports.
Sarkhan Isgandarov, a resident of the Gazakh district, born in 1987, was injured as a result of an ammunition explosion while grazing animals in an area that had not been cleared of mines.
The district prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the incident.
ANAMA, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the General Prosecutor's Office once again urge citizens to strictly adhere to safety rules, pay attention to mine danger signs, avoid entering unfamiliar or potentially hazardous areas, and not interfere in areas where fencing activities are being carried out.
