The ambassador said the visit is aimed at strengthening the bilateral relations: “Because we consider Azerbaijan as an element of stability in the region”.
The diplomat also noted that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will also be discussed during the visit: “We know that this issue is of importance to both Azerbaijan and Armenia. Because this issue, whose resolution is delayed, has huge negative impacts. We are trying to build confidence between the two countries within the framework of the OSCE Minsk group”.
French President François Hollande will pay a visit to Azerbaijan on May 11-12.
