â€œUnresolved Nagorno Karabakh conflict is accompanied by loss of lifeâ€, Russian Foreign Ministry

Baku-APA. We deeply regret that the unresolved Nagorno Karabakh conflict is accompanied by loss of life, and casualties are not only during the armed skirmish, said Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich, answering the question on Nagorno Karabakh conflict, addressed by mass media representatives, APA reports .

Lukashevich also extended his condolences to Azerbaijani and Armenian families who lost their relatives. He also stressed the necessity to investigate such incidents.

Russian Foreign Ministry official also call upon the parties to the practical use of the provisions of the Joint Statement of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia dated on 27 October, 2010 on the return of the bodies with the assistance of the OSCE Minsk Group and the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Azerbaijani hostages, Shahbaz Guliyev and Dilgam Askarov, taken by Armenian armed forces and Hasan Hasanov’s body, killed by Armenians, are kept in Armenia at the moment.

Azerbaijani side keeps body of the member of Armenian sabotage group Karen Petrosyan, died of a heart attack.

Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov noted that Armenian side was suggested to exchange hostages and bodies through the International Committee of the Red Cross, but the Armenian side rejected this proposal.
