A Russian expert Mikhail Alexandrov who made statements against Azerbaijan was expelled from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MSIIR), where he worked, MSIIR told APA's Moscow correspondent.
The Institute noted that the unreasonable aggressiveness and obvious unprofessionalism of Mikhail Alexandrov's statements caused an extremely harsh negative reaction of the foreign policy community and the anger of the members of the CIS. The image and interests of the university have been seriously damaged.
"Based on the established facts regarding Alexandrov's actions not being in accordance with the status of an employee of the MSIIR, as well as Alexandrov's extreme neglect of his duties, the rector signed an order to terminate the employment relationship and expel M. Alexandrov from the university.
On the air of one of the Russian TV channels, Mikhail Alexandrov, who holds the position of the leading expert of the University's Military-Political Research Center, made statements that harmed the ally. Relations between Russia and Azerbaijan grossly distorted the goals and objectives of Russia's policy towards a friendly neighboring state. The unwarranted aggressiveness and obvious unprofessionalism of Aleksandrov's statements provoked an extremely harsh negative reaction from the foreign policy community and the anger of the MSIIR team. Based on the established facts regarding the fact that Alexandrov's actions do not correspond to the status of an MSIIR employee, as well as Alexandrov's extreme neglect of his official duties, the rector signed an order to terminate the employment relationship and expel M. Alexandrov from the Institute," said the information released by the MSIIR.
Note that M. Alexandrov made anti-Azerbaijani statements while commenting on the peaceful action of Azerbaijani ecologists on the Lachin road on air of Rusarminfo internet channel. The "expert" who uttered openly hostile statements said that Russia should attack Baku's oil structure.
