As part of the preparations for the Seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States, a meeting was held between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan to discuss regional integration and common agendas, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, APA repors.
He stated that, within the framework of preparations for the Seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States, a productive meeting was held with his counterparts from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.
According to the minister, the expansion of mutual cooperation and the increase in the overall well-being of the regional countries were thoroughly discussed at the meeting.
Bakhtiyor Saidov stated that during the talks, the draft agenda of the summit, the decisions to be made, and the final documents that will define the future contours of integration in Central Asia were the focus of attention.
He emphasized that there is a unified approach among the countries towards regional integration, strengthening mutual trust, and solving common problems together.

The next meeting of the foreign ministers of the Central Asian countries is being held, Akhror Burkhanov, the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, said in an X post, APA reports.
According to him, the meeting is being held very effectively, openly and in a spirit of mutual trust, and the most pressing issues of the sustainable development, security and prosperity of the region are being discussed in detail.
"Another important aspect of this meeting is the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, who is participating in this format for the first time, which indicates the further expansion of our multifaceted relations with our close friend and partner state," he noted.
