Baku. Lachin Sultanova –APA. Azerbaijan does not see a threat by the Collective Security Treaty Organization, said Khazar Ibrahim, Press Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the press conference on Monday, APA reports. Khazar Ibrahim said CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuja’s statement that “CSTO member countries will support the member country faced with aggression” was not new. “Bordyuja says nothing new and this issue was stated at the organization’s charter. Azerbaijan did not commit aggression against any country and has no such intentions. Azerbaijan’s criterion is only to restore its territorial integrity and it will do that in its territory”.
The Collective Security Treaty Organization was established in May 1992. Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Armenia are the members of this organization.
