Georgian outgoing ambassador to Azerbaijan meets with media representatives

“The relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia are developing dynamically. Over 11 legal documents were signed during my term of office as ambassador,� Outgoing ambassador of Georgia to Azerbaijan Zurab GUmberidze said at the meeting with media representatives. He underlined that the two countries are actively cooperating on energy and transport projects.
“I am sure that the new ambassador will contribute to the development of cooperation between our countries,� he said.
Zurab Gumberidze said after that, he wants to work on one of economic projects in the implementation of which he played a great part during his office.
The ambassador did not rule out being representative of Georgian Oil & Gas Corporation. Zurab Gumberidze stressed that Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia have no problem concerning redistribution of Shah Deniz gas.
“We had trilateral negotiations on redistribution of gas. The negotiations were effective. The matter is the development of Shah Deniz project,� he said.
Georgian Embassy in Azerbaijan has been operating since 1995. Zurab Gumberidze has been ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Azerbaijan since 1997. /APA/
