President Ilham Aliyev receives the credentials of incoming ambassadors

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received the credentials of incoming ambassador of Ecuador to the country Patricio Alberto Chavez Zavala.
During the meeting, the ambassador conveyed Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa`s greetings to the Azerbaijani leader. He said Ecuador was interested in developing the bilateral relations and expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan within international organizations.
The ambassador expressed confidence the two countries` relations would further develop.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence Mr. Chavez Zavala`s tenure would see the relations between Azerbaijan and Ecuador deepen.
The Head of State said there were good opportunities for expanding the existing active cooperation between the two countries within international organizations.
The President noted the importance of developing the economic relations.
President Ilham Aliyev asked the ambassador to pass on his greetings to Ecuadorian leader Rafael Correa.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received the credentials of Vatican`s Apostolic Nuncio to the country Marek Solczynski.
They had a meeting, and both the Head of State and Vatican`s Papal Representative said the relations between the two countries were developing. They stressed participation of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in humanitarian projects contributed to expanding the bilateral relations.

During the meeting, the ambassador said he was deeply impressed by great development processes taking place in Azerbaijan.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received the credentials of incoming ambassador of the Philippines Marilyn Jusayan Alarilla.
During a meeting following the ceremony, the ambassador conveyed greetings of the Philippine President Benigno Aquino III to the Azerbaijani leader.
She noted the Philippines was interested in developing the cooperation with Azerbaijan in different areas, including energy, science and technologies.
President Ilham Aliyev said there was good potential for developing the Azerbaijan-Philippines relations in many fields, particularly economic one.
The Head of State stressed the importance of the two countries` cooperation within international organizations, in particular the United Nations.
The President stressed the necessity of considering investment opportunities and outlining cooperation areas for building strong economic partnership between Azerbaijan and the Philippines.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received the credentials of incoming ambassador of Zimbabwe Bonifes Guva Britto Chidyausiku.
During the meeting, the ambassador conveyed Zimbabwean leader Robert Mugabe`s greetings to the Azerbaijani President.
He said Zimbabwe was interested in developing relations with Azerbaijan in the fields of politics, economy, energy and investment, as well as in implementing joint projects. The Zimbabwean diplomat said the two countries were cooperating within a number of international organizations, including the United Nations and Non-Aligned Movement.
Mr. Britto Chidyausiku stressed the importance of Azerbaijan`s joining the UN Security Council.
President Ilham Aliyev thanked the government of Zimbabwe for supporting Azerbaijan`s UN Security Council membership bid.
