SOCAR President and Georgian PM meet â€“ <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION</font>

Tbilisi. Nizami Mammadzadeh â€“ APA. Today, Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili met with SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev. APAâ€™s Georgian bureau reports that the meeting was held at SOCARâ€™s office in Georgia. After welcoming Ivanishvili in front of the building, Abdullayev introduced him with new office of the building. Thereupon, bilateral meeting started.

In the interview to journalists, Ivanishvili expressed satisfaction with the meeting: â€˜Strategy of the two countries is creating such a friendship that has not existed in the history ever. We were always friendly countries. Our relations were always normal. My direction and purpose is thatâ€™.

The Prime Minister noted the importance and significance of todayâ€™s meeting and said the discussions covered all spheres: â€˜SOCAR is one of the important companies in Georgia. I would like to say its President, in general to Azerbaijani nation that we will do our best to continue close relationship between Georgia and Azerbaijanâ€™.

In turn, Abdullayev appreciated the meeting with Georgian PM: â€˜The meeting was held at a high level. Ivanishvili said that Georgia was interested in rising the relations with Azerbaijan to the level never recorded in the history: â€˜He said that Georgia will establish very strong ties with Azerbaijan. Mr. Ivanishvili asked us to enhance the projects of SOCAR, realized in Georgia and strengthen the position there. And we promised that SOCAR projects would be continued in Georgia and we would develop our business in this country. As a guarantee of Georgian energy supply and security, SOCAR will continue these worksâ€™.
