The aim of the visit is to attend the “Security and online mass media†forum as a part of Internet Management Forum in Baku.
Nils Muižnieks will meet with officials during his visit. He will discuss the state of human rights in Azerbaijan. The visit will end on November 7.
This will be the first visit of Nils Muižnieks in capacity of Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights. He took the office in April, 2012.
