Azerbaijani Ambassador to US addresses Loyola University Chicago Law School - <font color=red>PHOTO</font>

The Azerbaijani embassy in US told APA that addressing the audience at the Loyola University Chicago Law School, one of the leading universities of the US established in 1870, Ambassador Elin Suleymanov gave information about the current state of the cooperation between the two countries and said that bilateral strategic relations are in the interests of the two states. The diplomat noted that Azerbaijan is closely cooperating with the US in fighting against terrorism. Speaking about the energy cooperation, he informed the audience about the energy projects implemented in the region.

Mehriban Mammadova who graduated with Master of Laws ( LL.M) degree at Loyola University Chicago Law School is one of the organizers of the event. Mammadova is taking active role in organizing future meetings where professors and officials lecture and provide guidance about Azerbaijan which will form the future economy and democracy in the region.

During the visit, the diplomat met with the senior representatives of American Jewish Committeeâ€™s regional office (AJC) in Chicago, they exchanged views on the current situation in the region, further development and possible consequences of the process in the Middle East, as well as the cooperation of Azerbaijan with the US and Israel, the traditional friendly relations between the Azerbaijani and Jewish peoples.

The embassy representatives also met with the members of the local Azerbaijani and Turkish communities.
