"Israel and Azerbaijan are at the development peak of relations," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel

Jerusalem. Anahanim Hidayatova - APA. "Israel and Azerbaijan are at the peak of development of relations. The main aspect of the interaction is the energy sector," said director of the department of the Israeli Foreign Ministry on Eurasia Oded Joseph in an interview with Azerbaijani journalists

According to Oded Joseph, the relations between two countries are becoming much closer with the discovery of new energy resources in Israel: "Azerbaijan is a country with a long experience in production of natural energy resources, the parties are working together in the Israeli sector of the Mediterranean. It is important to learn the experience of our Azerbaijani colleagues in this area. Moreover, I believe that Israel has a great potential for SOCARâ€™s development of functionality.â€

The diplomat also said that Israel would like to invest in the economy of Azerbaijan in the fields of medical devices, information technologies and agriculture.
