President Ilham Aliyev receives credentials of incoming Egyptian, Lithuanian and Iranian ambassadors
The Head of State noted there was a big potential to expand relationship between Azerbaijan and Egypt.
The President said the two countries` peoples enjoy historical friendship
relations.
President Ilham Aliyev stressed the necessity of expanding bilateral ties in various fields, including political and economic spheres and wished the diplomat successes in this work.
Tarek Housni Ahmed Abou Sena said Egypt was interested in boosting bilateral relations with Azerbaijan.
The ambassador noted he would spare no efforts to contribute to enhancing cooperation between the two countries.

The Head of State noted bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Lithuania were expanding in all directions on the basis of mutual interest.

The President noted there were big opportunities for expansion of the bilateral cooperation in the field of economy.

The Lithuanian ambassador said he was honored to represent his country in the friendly country as Azerbaijan.

Zurauskas recalled a meeting between President Ilham Aliyev and Lithuanian leader Dalia Grybauskaite.
The Head of State asked the diplomat to deliver his greetings to the Lithuanian President.
The Azerbaijani leader also recalled his meeting with Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite.
President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of high-level reciprocal visits for expanding bilateral ties.
During the meeting, they expressed confidence Lithuania would contribute to the Azerbaijan-European Union cooperation.

Touching upon development of relations between Azerbaijan and Iran, the Head of State expressed confidence this cooperation will continue to develop successfully.

The President also underlined the importance of participation of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in this summit.

The ambassador noted he would spare no efforts to contribute to strengthening relationship between the two countries.
