The press service of the Ministry told APA that Elmar Mammadyarov congratulated Iranian Ambassador on his appointment and expressed assurance that his activity would contribute to improving the relations between the states. Minister Mammadyarov stressed the importance of bilateral visits in the enhancement of the relations between the states.
The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Azerbaijan Mohsun Pak Ain expressed satisfaction with being appointed to this post and stressed that he would do his best for the development of mutual cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran. The ambassador also mentioned that there is a great potential for extending the bilateral cooperation between the states in all spheres and said his country attaches great importance to the enhancement of the relations with independent Azerbaijan.
