Azerbaijan is about 80 percent of the economy of the entire Caucasus, President Ilham Aliyev

Baku-APA. At Minsk National Airport, Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus had a brief talk, APA reports.

President Alexander Lukhashenko noted that they are very interested in business relations with Azerbaijan in the Caucasus. He also suggested to extend to the markets of third countries together with Azerbaijan.

President Ilham Aliyev said that Azerbaijan is also interested in this. â€œBecause over time our domestic market will almost provide domestic production fully. If we want to develop further - of course, we want - we need to think about the export potential and export markets. I applaud your decision on the priority cooperation with Azerbaijan in the Caucasus. There are all opportunities and relations. Today Azerbaijan is about 80 percent of the economy of the entire Caucasus. It is the largest country with huge resources, with great potential. So we can do a lot together. I think the focus on the markets of third countries - is going to be one of the new direction of cooperationâ€.

A guard of honor was lined up for the Azerbaijani President at the airport decorated with the national flags of the two countries.
President Ilham Aliyev was seen off by Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko.
The same day, the Head of State returned to Baku.
At the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, President Ilham Aliyev was welcomed by Prime Minister Artur Rasizade and Baku Mayor Hajibala Abutalibov.
