According to Abdullayev, yesterday, the representatives of General Consulate of Azerbaijan in Tabriz met with the judge who carries out the judicial process of Azerbaijani poets and he assured them that the sentence would be passed within 15-20 days. So, Azerbaijani side hasn’t been given any information on what concrete guilt Azerbaijani poets were accused of.
E.Abdullayev also stressed that General Consulate of Azerbaijan in Tabriz rendered the required judicial help to Azerbaijani citizens.
Farid Huseyn and Shahriyar Hajizadeh arrived in Iran in order to participate in poetry festival and were arrested on May 2.
