Baku – APA. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, who is on a visit to Mecca in order to participate in the Fourth Extraordinary Session of the Islamic Summit Conference, met with Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov.
Press service of the Foreign Ministry told APA that current state of relations between the two countries and ways of further development of cooperation were discussed during the meeting.
Mammadyarov informed about Azerbaijan’s activity in the UN Security Council, as well as cooperation and activity with the Non-Aligned Movement.
The ministers also exchanged view on issues placed on agenda of Mecca Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
