Azerbaijan is a good partner in the bilateral relations. The operations in Afghanistan and other projects implemented jointly with NATO can be given as an example,†NATO Assistant Secretary General for Defense Policy and Planning Huseyin Dirioz told journalists in Baku, APA reports.
Dirioz said the organization’s new strategy had been recently determined at the meeting of NATO in Lisbon.
“The new strategy envisages NATO’s joint activity with partner countries against global threats and in the solution of the problems causing concern of the world. NATO foreign ministers passed a decision in Berlin in April to improve the cooperation. Joint activity has already become more important for NATO. Of course, it also includes the relations with Azerbaijan,†he said.
