Conference â€œThe 20th anniversary of independence: Evolution of Azerbaijanâ€™s foreign policyâ€ takes place in Baku

APA reports that the achievements of Azerbaijanâ€™s independent foreign policy within the past 20 years, cooperation with the world community, integration into the international organizations, measures taken towards the resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict, NATO-Azerbaijan cooperation and other issues are being discussed at the conference.

Deputy foreign ministers of Azerbaijan Araz Azimov, Hafiz Pashayev, NATO Assistant Secretary General for Defense Policy and Planning Huseyin Dirioz, director of Caspian Political Studies Center Vafa Guluzadeh, Professor of Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy Anar Valiyev, Romaniaâ€™s ambassador to Azerbaijan Daniel Ciobanu and ambassadors of several other countries accredited in Azerbaijan are attending the conference.

The aim of NISA is to establish cooperation network among the NATO member and partner states, young scientific researchers, independent experts, military and civil representatives, guided by the principles of security integrity to discuss current threats and study the ways of their solution.
