Azerbaijan hosts constituent congress of Islamic Countries Youth Entrepreneurs Network

The congress was organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Islamic Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation (IYFDC) and the Government of Azerbaijan.

According to APA, in the final ceremony, the participants adopted working documents and Charter determining directions of the network’s activity and legal status. The network is a joint platform for the young businessmen of the Islamic countries. It will create opportunity for business information exchange, stimulating business activity, which contributes to the economic development and exchange of innovative ideas and experiences.

About 150 young businessmen from different countries attended the congress. The participants of the congress discussed the topics like “Ways of business building: regional and global prospects”, “The role of youth in diversification of the OIC countries’ economy and others.

The award of “10 Young Muslims Who Will Change the World” founded on the initiative of General Coordinator of Intercultural Dialogue for IYFDC Leyla Aliyeva for encouraging the young businessmen of the Islamic countries was presented at the congress. 10 young Muslims under 30, who achieved important successes in the fields of business, art, sports and protection of environment, were awarded.

The conclusions of the Baku congress will be submitted to the 2nd Global Business Summit in Istanbul, Turkey on December 3-5, 2011.
