Ambassador: No factor can have a negative impact on the friendship and brotherhood between Iran and Azerbaijan

With the view of hiding the protests of their people the Western states aim to commit provocative actions against the states of the region, including Iran,â€ Ambassador Mahammadbagir Bahrami said in his interview to IRNA, the press service of the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Azerbaijan told APA.

Ambassador said the US and the international Zionism attempt to stir up discord between Iran and the states of the region.
â€œBut they should know that the provocation and plans of the world imperialism will not be effective,â€ he said.

Diplomat said the peopleâ€™s revolts in the Middle East are pro-Islamic, moving towards the realization of the great Islamic civilization, there isnâ€™t much time left to see the fall of the capitalism and Zionist regime.

Bahrami said that the relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan were established on the basis of friendship and brotherhood: â€œCultural and spiritual ties unite the peoples of both countries and nothing can shadow these relations. There are great opportunities for further strengthening of Iran-Azerbaijan relations and the will of leaders of both countries is always directed to strengthen the relations of the two peoples on the historical, religious and cultural basis. No factor can have a negative impact on these relationsâ€.

Diplomat also noted the significance of active role of the Iranian and Azerbaijani mass media in further strengthening of relations between the two countries: â€œMass media should make it priority to release materials serving to further strengthening of relations between the countriesâ€.
