Azerbaijani President receives delegation led by chairman of Turkish parliamentâ€™s foreign affairs commission

The Head of State underlined that after the parliamentary elections the Turkish parliamentarians pay their first official visits to Azerbaijan, expressed his satisfaction with the continuation of this tradition by the members of the parliament alongside with the government representatives. President Ilham Aliyev expressed his confidence that the visit of the delegation led by Volkan Bozkir will be successful.

The Head of State underlined that the friendship and brotherhood between the two countries cover all spheres, expressed his confidence that the interparliamentary relations will also be perfect.

Volkan Bozkir said the first foreign visit of the Turkish delegation to Azerbaijan is an important task for them. Congratulating President Ilham Aliyev on the 20th anniversary of Azerbaijanâ€™s state independence, Volkan Bozkir said Azerbaijanâ€™s election as a member of the UN Security Council is an important event while there are serious problems in the world and region.
