Executive Director of Crans Montana Forum: â€œAzerbaijan could ensure its security and stability, and can be an example to the othersâ€

Baku â€“ APA. The 13th International Summit on Transnational Crime and Global Security Forum organized by the Crans Montana Forum was held in Geneva, Switzerland. APA reports that the state and governmental representatives of more than 60 countries, more than 200 representatives of international organizations and transnational companies participated in the event.

Executive Director of the Forum Jean-Paul Carteron spoke about the international threats, transnational crime and terrorism problems. He said that the next session of the forum would be held in Azerbaijan at the invitation of Azerbaijani President.

Carteron said that in recent years Azerbaijan has achieved serious successes in economical and social sphere under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev: â€œDespite the complex geopolitical situations, Azerbaijan could ensure its security and stability, and can be an example to the others. Thanks to balanced foreign policy and energy projects, Azerbaijan has turned into one the important elements of Europe and global securityâ€.
