Baku – APA. On November 16, Azerbaijani Prime Minister Artur Rasizadeh received the delegation led by Vice-President of the European Commission, European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton, APA reports.
Rasizadeh said that Ashton’s visit will give an impetus to the further strengthening of Azerbaijan-EU relations. Informing about Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Prime Minister said that this problem should be settled in accordance with the norms of international law and within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
In her turn, Ashton expressed satisfaction with her visit to Azerbaijan.
They exchanged view on development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and EU.
